Senior Design Engineer - Mechanical
Due to significant growth this successful
designerand
manufacturer of heavy industry
metal processing equipment are looking for a
Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team.
Autodesk Inventor and
AutoCAD for
2D/3D modelling.
As
Senior Mechanical Design Engineer you will need to be an experienced and thorough communicator as part of your role will be to assist and advise the engineering team and keep the customer fully updated on progress of project/s.
For this role you will very much need to be a team player as you will be working closely with a team of specialist engineers reporting directly to the company's Chief Engineer.
- Ideally Located_**:
- Dudley, Halesowen, Stourbridge, Wolverhampton, Walsall, Birmingham, Redditch, Worcester, Telford, Stafford**Salary**:
- £50k to £65K DOE
- overtime, annual bonus, pension, private health care, 25 days basic annual leave plus BH*
- Be an experienced
Mechanical Design Engineer
- Be able to create
mechanical drawings to industry standards for manufacturing purposes. - Understanding of
Autodesk Inventor and
AutoCAD for 2D/3D modelling are essential. - Ideally experienced in the design of metal processing equipment, heavy capital equipment, Industrial heavy duty metal working or forming machinery such as section straighteners, tube straighteners, heavy duty presses or large press tools.
- Experience with heavy duty fabrications is desirable but NOT essential.
- Knowledge and understanding of hydraulics and electrics is desirable but NOT essential.
