Shire Healthcare are currently sourcing a band 5, or newly qualified, Speech and Language Therapist for one of our clients in Southeast London.

The successful Speech and Language Therapist will work in the community, supporting children and young people in both mainstream and specialist educational settings.

This is a full-time, permanent position at 37.5 hours per week.


The role:

  • Managing a mixed caseload of children and young people with speech, language and communication needs
  • Completing assessments to develop individualised intervention programmes
  • Delivering interventions
  • Liaising with clients, parents, carers and other professionals in relation to the speech, language and communication needs

The ideal Speech and Language Therapist:

  • Holds a relevant Degree/Diploma in Speech and Language Therapy
  • HCPC registered
  • Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills
