Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant seeking a new role from September 2023? Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of students with special educational needs?


Tradewind are proud to be supporting an Ofsted rated 'Good' Primary School based in Stapleford, Cambridgeshire, who are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team in September.

As a Teaching Assistant in this school, you will play a vital role in providing essential learning and care support to pupils with SEN on a 1:1 basis.

Commencing September Up to £90 per day depending on experience

Supporting SEN pupils 1:1 with their social, emotional and mental health needs

The key requirements for this role are:

  • Degree holder and/or significant experience working with children
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students, promoting high selfesteem and independence
  • Patience, empathy, and a caring attitude towards students with special educational needs
  • Ability to support students with their social, emotional, and mental health needs, escalating concerns when necessary
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the individual needs of students
  • Ability to supervise a class if the teacher is temporarily unavailable
