Catapult is seeking a driven and responsible IT Intern to support our internal team for a period of 4 months.

This individual will be responsible for troubleshooting and support of IT Systems for Catapult Sports and is based out of Leeds, UK.


This role includes:
Desktop Support, Operating Systems Administration (Windows and Mac), Telephone Systems, and Cloud Services Account Administration.


What You'll Do
As an IT intern, you will gain on-the-job skills as you assist our distributed IT organization with the following:

  • Perform onsite or remote analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of technical support issues raised by our end-users
  • Equipment provisioning and deprovisioning in accordance with established procedures and processes
  • Account provisioning and deprovisioning in accordance with established procedures and processes
  • Respond to assigned help desk requests in a timely manner using the help desk ticketing system
  • Maintain conference room equipment, printers, and other equipment in shared spaces
  • Order equipment as needed and maintain hardware inventory

What You'll Need

Technical Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrable customer support skills
  • Interest in learning about corporate IT using bestofbreed technology
  • Interest in learning to use a ticketing system
  • Interest in working in a teamoriented, collaborative environment

Education & Certifications

  • Working towards an AS or BS degree in a technology discipline or equivalent experience

  • Ability to work in the office 5 days/week
  • A customeroriented mindset
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to quickly learn new skills
  • Ability to work diligently under mínimal supervision to achieve agreed upon objectives and priorities (results orientated)
  • Systematic thinker and consistent approach to problem solving
  • Composure along with the ability to react quickly during crisis (e.g. Network Down)
  • Ability to work effectively in a distributed team oriented environment
  • Ability to keep IT management aware of and up to date on site issues
