Sharp Consultancy are excited to be partnering with a well-known manufacturing client which is a sub £20m T/O business. The role is for a newly created Finance Director based at the head office in Chesterfield.
Our client specialises in manufacturing solutions, providing products and support to significant multi-national clients and their products.

This role is responsible for leading the business as it embarks on the next stage of its business growth and development.


  • You will report directly into the Global CFO and work closely with the UK MD
  • You will provide leadership across the finance team and enable better performance via process improvements and developments
  • You will own the budget and monitor the performance of the P&L with analysis and commentary across senior stakeholders
  • You will manage cahsflows, controls, the audit process, and develop key performance indicators to highlight business performance

All applicants must be qualified, and it is vital you can show a strong level of leadership with clear successes at a leadership level in previous roles.

Any previous experience of manufacturing or operational exposure in business would be highly advantageousbut not necessarily essential.

You must possess strong management and coaching skills, be an excellent communicator and lead with the required gravitas to drive the business at all levels.
