Upon visiting the school Tradewind were impressed with the state of the art facilities and support networks available to both students and staff.

There are excellent connections to public transport and a large onsite car park for staff.

Responsibilities:

Planning, preparing and delivering engaging geography lessons to students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage
Assessing and monitoring student progress and providing feedback on their work
Developing and implementing schemes of work and lesson plans
Maintaining an uptodate knowledge of the geography curriculum and assessment requirements
Supporting and encouraging students to achieve their full potential
Collaborating with colleagues to share resources and ideas
Participating in school events and extracurricular activities

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Strong knowledge of the geography curriculum and assessment requirements
Experience teaching geography to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students
Passion for teaching and a commitment to supporting students to achieve their full potential
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
DBS on the update service.
