Job Purpose
As a DVP and Sign Off Lead at Agratas, you will be involved at all stages of the design and development process.
You will liaise directly with customers and engineering teams to support delivery of robust effective engineering solutions including requirement management, FMEA management, Design Validation Planning, and policing of conformance.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Design Validation Planning: Strategically plan the execution of battery systems through validation process gateways through to engineering release.
- Cost Optimization: Implement cost reduction initiatives while maintaining or improving the quality and performance of battery systems and components. Drive initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce overall system cost.
- Engineering Release: Enabling formal design release approvals through validation of formal BoM creation.
- Quality Assurance and Compliance: Work closely with quality assurance teams to establish and monitor quality standards to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
- Risk Management: Identify and assess risks associated with DVP and sign off. Develop and implement mitigation strategies to safeguard against potential disruptions.
- Health & Safety: Ensure all Health, Safety and Environmental policies are adhered to.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on advancements in battery technologies, materials, and manufacturing processes. Implement best practices and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience running DVP within an automotive manufacturing setting with track record in the effective delivery of technical objectives to quality targets and milestones.
- Familiarity with systems engineering processes from requirements capture through to design validation.
- Familiarity with supplier quality management, negotiations, and contract management.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, with the ability to make datadriven decisions.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong supplier relationships.
- Project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
