JOB- Mechanical Design Engineer
**LOCATION- Cornwall
TERM- Permanent**
SALARY- D.O.E (Junior & Experienced)

The Mechanical Design Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

Understanding of manufacturing, building, commissioning, and testing of new equipment
Experienced in using Project Management tools and techniques
Experience working in Mechanical Design using 3D CAD SolidWorks software ideally
Ability to work to deadlines and have great attention to detail
Be selfmotivated and have an organised approach to work

The Mechanical Design Engineer role will involve:

Generate designs from concept which will involve preparing layout drawings for clients / customers
Test prototypes, write reports and assist with design modifications.
Creating new designs and modifying existing lines to improve designs
Communicating all findings to engineering colleagues to help with the progression of design projects
Strong time management and problemsolving skills
