You have probably seen our trucks on the road networks, and some you may not have even realised were ours.

To keep our business ahead, we need a crack team of Vehicle Maintenance Technicians to service and maintain our fleet.

We're looking for an experienced HGV Fitter/Mechanic to join us at our site in Wilton.

You'll be working a Monday to Friday rotating shift pattern and play a vital part in ensuring that our fleet is always maintained, serviced and safe.

We're looking to offer a guarenteed 48 hours giving you a competitive salary of £40,800. You'll also receive 20 days holiday, plus bank holidays, access to a variety of high street discounts, a cycle to work scheme, a workplace pension, and many other perks.


What you'll do on a typical day:

  • Carry out MOT preparations, servicing and repairs on our fleet of HGVs
  • Diagnose faults on vehicles
  • Work on Rigids, Tractors and Trailers
  • Knowledge of tail lifts an advantage
  • Stripping, fitting and replacing components

What you need to succeed at XPO:

  • Proven experience in an HGV Fitter/Mechanic role
  • Relevant HGV mechanic qualification, such as BTEC or City & Guilds (desirable)
  • A full UK driving licence with C+E entitlement (desirable)
