My client based in Merton has an exciting new opportunity to work in the 'Community and Housing Department' as a Senior Options Adviser.

Please note this is a managerial-level position.


Responsibilities of the role include:

  • Working closely with the Housing Advice and Options Manager to provide a range of services in the prevention of homelessness
  • Managing resources and demands for accommodation
  • Carry out the Council's legislative requirements in accordance with the law
  • Managing staffing levels and the development of staff members
  • Implementing a comprehensive plan to prevent and delay homelessness
  • Working with external agencies including voluntary groups
  • Making decisions on the provision of temporary accommodation

Job Types:
Full-time, Temporary contract

Contract length: 3 months


Salary:
£34.90 per hour


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Work Location:
Hybrid remote in Morden
