The Evaluation and Impact team is a part of Teach First's Strategy and Learning department and sits within our Programme Development directorate.

We help Teach First make best of its resources to improve the lives of children and young people from disadvantagedbackgrounds.

Our role is to gather and use evidence as effectively and efficiently as possible to improve the work of Teach First.

We work closely with colleagues across the organisation to help generate, refine and review evidence; find ways of illuminatingTeach First's achievements and highlight areas for improvement.

We are committed to ensuring all our resources are genuinely making as big a difference as possible in pupils' lives.

Through your support of our team of Evaluation and Impact Specialists youwill help to evaluate our programmes and activities to help colleagues learn what works and what needs to be improved.


  • Do you have an interest in and some knowledge of evaluation techniques and research methods?
  • Do you have an interest in providing direct support to the Head of Evaluation and Impact and the Director of Strategy and Learning?
  • Do you have an analytical approach and the ability to come up with creative solutions to problems?
  • Do you have the ability to communicate research and evaluation findings in an understandable and usable manner?
  • Are you comfortable working to tight deadlines, and with a broad range of stakeholders?
  • Do you have good stakeholder management, teamwork and organisation skills?
