Hourly Rate:
£9.50

Hours Per week: 40, across 5 days (8 hour shifts)

Shift Times:
between 7:30 - 18:00

Rota is given 2 weeks in advance.

Here at Willing Care, we are seeking a Nursery Practitioner (Level 3) for one of our very established clients._

About the Nursery:

This Nursery is set in a beautiful four-acre site, surrounded by woodland, it provides care and education to children ages 6 months to 5 years.

Children benefit from small class sizes, where they learn through a combination of planned and child-initiated activities.

The role of a Nursery Practitioner (Level 3) within the Nursery involves:

To support the Room Leader in ensuring that observational records of the children in your group are kept in accordance with agreed policy, used to inform their next steps for learning and are reflected in the Room Leader recorded planning for your group.
To support the establishment of secure attachment for your key children.
To be responsible for the care routines of the children in your group as directed by the Room Leader.
To actively support a twoway flow of information between the setting and the parents and other carers of the children in your group and the wider setting.
To work in collaboration with other professionals who might be supporting children in your group.
To support the smooth transitions between settings of the children in your group.
To undertake supervision duties in the setting in accordance with agreed rotas.
To assist as directed in the preparation and maintenance of resources and equipment in the indoor and outdoor environment.

To be considered for the role of Nursery Practitioner (Level 3) _
you will have_**:

A minimum of a level 3 childcare related qualification.
GCSE or equivalent English and Mathematics Grade C or above (if Childcare Qualification achieved after September 2014).
Current paediatric First Aid Certificate or willingness to undertake training.

Experience required for the Nursery Practitioner (Level 3) role_**:_

Experience of working with children aged 04 years in a childcare setting.
Experience of recording observations, and supporting others in planning for children's learning in EYFS.
Experience of working in partnership with parents.
