Onboarding Business Partner

Guernsey


As a Barclays Onboarding Business Partner, you will lead as the primary contact for all new account enquiries, and act as the liaison between the Front Office and Operations teams.

You will be undertaking client visits to provide guidance on the new account process and be accountable for driving the quality of client submissions.

For this role, you will also be helping the Private Bank Relationship Management teams with all client account opening requests and providing ongoing coaching to clients, Front Office, and Due Diligence teams.

What will you be doing:


  • Leading as a first point of contact for all new account queries and ensuring a positive client experience by always exceeding their expectations
  • Leading and undertaking client service review visits to help with the customer service satisfaction scores in conjunction with our Front Office colleagues
  • Meeting/exceeding quality measures to evidence contribution to the endtoend processing of account opening within agreed service levels and right firsttime new account submissions
  • Providing guidance/coaching to clients in order to assist with the client experience and ensuring that clients have access to best possible service
  • Developing relationships with other parts of the bank and in doing so, having a joinn accountability for the endtoend client experience and client satisfaction
  • Ensuring that standards, both legal and regulatory, are adhered to, in order to avoid exposing the business to undue risk

What we're looking for:


  • Previous experience in Customer Due Diligence procedures and awareness of Financial Crime policy and procedures
  • Being action oriented and organised with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritise accordingly and remain calm under pressure
  • Being selfmotivated with the ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team
  • Good social and influencing skills as well as being client service focused

Skills that will help you in the role:

  • Previous experience of working in a trust/fund environment as well as solid corporate banking experience
  • Detailed knowledge of the regulatory requirements covering money laundering and criminal activity is desirable
  • Ability to demonstrate a logical and structured approach to achieving desired outcomes along with good written and oral communication and ability to communicate across all levels
  • Ability to display high integrity and trust due to the sensitive nature of information handled

We have two offices in Guernsey situated in the heart of St Peter Port, the main town on this idyllic Island.
