Our client area full-service Independent Power Producer (IPP), they own and operate more than 60 sites across the UK hosting 700MW of flexible generation and more than 150MW of battery storage. With more than 22 sites in construction theirgrowing portfolio and team makes us a market leader across the board, from energy markets, to technology, regulation and finance. We are dedicated to supporting critical national infrastructure and the UK's energy transition to net zero by 2050. We can supplypower from the grid to our commercial customers and optimise generation assets through our trading desk, helping the UK meet challenge of navigating the energy trilemma.

Group Financial Accounting Manager - £65,000 - £75,000 (upto 20% bonus)

Ideally understand tax
Techincally strong accountant (understands consolidations/complex legal entity structure and how they fit together)
ACA Qualified
Second/third role out of practice (ideally big 4, then top 10 trained)
Someone keen to progress wants the group FC job in 35 years

Day to Day:

Overseeing month end from a financial accounting basis (well controlled at an entity level, consolidation entries reviewed)
Creates and manages balance sheet reconciliations
Someone ensures technical side is under control & well informed
Manages day to day relationship with external auditors and tax advisors
Private equity / bank reporting alongside month and year end
Controlling and responsible for analytics
