In addition to privately funded therapy for a wide range of psychological presenting issues, we offer some services free at the point of delivery, through contracts with NHS partners and charitable funding.

The service consistently achieves clinically significant improvements for clients, with excellent client feedback.


THE ROLE


This exciting role will be integral to delivering specialised psychological assessments and interventions to children, young people, and their families on a sessional basis.

You will work with a range of needs and presentations, depending on your clinical experience and training.


In particular, we are hoping to appoint a clinician with specific training and practice-based expertise in working from a
CBT-based model including Third Wave approaches (ACT, CFT), Schema Therapy, or EMDR.



KEY ASPECTS OF ROLE
To work as a sessional member within the clinical team providing psychotherapy to clients attending The Retreat York Clinics


To be responsible for delivering psychological assessment interventions to clients and their families (age 4-18) with a range of difficulties, including anxiety disorders including emotionally based school avoidance, depression, eating disorders, PTSD, bereavement, and OCD.

To work autonomously within the parameters of The Retreat Clinic guidelines and professional Code of Practice and Ethical Guidelines.
