James Hornsby already benefits from a highly dedicated, friendly and well-resourced Science Department and we are looking for an experienced, dynamic and committed professional to join the team and support the Head of Department in the drive to improve the outcomes across KS3/KS4 Science.

You will need to teach across all 3 Sciences and support the on-going development of the department pedagogical practices.


You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a positive approach to working effectively with all members of the school community and external stakeholders.


This is an exciting time to be joining the school, as we grow in popularity within the local community and beyond.

Ongoing, extensive building works are adding state of the art additional resources to the school, and we are part of a dynamic Trust, comprising 4 local schools.
