Mechanical Design Engineer - Scientific Instruments - £35-40k - Oxford
My client are a global technology company specialising in the design and manufacture of scientific instruments.

Due to continued success, they're looking to grow the engineering team with an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to help develop new productsfrom concept stages through to production.


Main duties:


  • Develop new products - cradle to grave design
  • 3D CAD design
  • Prototype & test designs
  • Mechanism & component design
  • Mechanical analysis

Key Skills:


  • Relevant degree, ideally in mechanical engineering
  • 3D CAD design
- ideally Solidworks

  • Hands on & practical - Prototype & test designs
  • Experience designing precision-based components
  • Experience in different manufacturing processes - CNC machining & 3D printing
**The salary will be between £35,000-£40,000 depending on experience. There are also generous benefits package available.
