Overview:


Responsibilities:


Financial Analysis and Strategy:
Collaborate with executive management to develop and implement financial strategies that align with the hotel's objectives and maximise profitability.
Conduct thorough financial analysis, including forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, to identify opportunities for revenue enhancement and cost optimization.
Provide strategic insights and recommendations based on financial data and market trends to support informed decision-making.


Business Partnering and Stakeholder Management:


Serve as a trusted advisor to department heads and senior leadership, fostering collaborative relationships and offering financial guidance to achieve business goals.

Partner with operational teams to review performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement action plans to drive revenue growth and cost efficiency.

Act as a liaison between finance, sales, marketing, and operations, ensuring alignment of strategies and initiatives to achieve overall business objectives.


Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the financial health and operational efficiency of the hotel.
Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting financial performance, trends, and actionable insights.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented strategies, recommending adjustments as necessary to drive continuous improvement.


Financial Governance and Compliance:
Oversee financial compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies, ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial reporting.
Collaborate with internal audit and finance teams to conduct periodic reviews and assessments to mitigate financial risks


Qualifications:

Professional accounting qualification (e.g, CPA, CIMA, ACCA) is required.
Extensive experience in financial management, business partnering, or related roles within the hospitality industry.
Proven track record in strategic financial planning, analysis, and implementation of initiatives driving revenue growth and cost optimization.
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modelling, forecasting, and budgeting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Proficiency in financial software and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other relevant tools.
