Description

Based at our Wincanton head office, you'll be responsible for the compliance and record keeping across the fleet and at our depots (currently Surrey, Wiltshire and Somerset).

You'll need to hit the ground running so experience within transport compliance is a must. Removals knowledge would be advantageous. Site visits are essential, therefore you'll need a current driving license.

Required Experience;

Transport legislation.
H&S and welfare at work legislation.
Tachographs
Drivers' hours and working time legislation.
First use vehicle checks.
Data protection.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Key Responsibilities;

Staff awareness and compliance with H&S and environmental procedures and developments.
Maintain, review, record site safety and environmental management systems.

Staff training, career development and monitoring.

Driver checks compliance and record keeping.
Vehicle maintenance, compliance and record keeping.
Monitor legislation and ensure group compliance and awareness of forthcoming changes.
Maintain, review, record site safety and environmental management systems.
Carry out and manage routine audits/inspections of sites to ensure adequate H&S & QA procedures.
Auditing, implementation and maintenance of all existing (and any future) ISO, BS EN standards.
Ensuring compliance with all BAR requirements.

Salary:
£24,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
