About Our Team:
Our Southampton office is currently seeking a full-time Senior Project Surveyor to join our growing team.
The role will cover the whole project lifecycle from initial inception, through the design and procurement process and onto the site delivery and commissioning phase.

You will be joining a team of like-minded experts that have a passion for innovation and delivering cutting edge solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Provide a full suite of Cost Management duties to AECOM clients.
- Lead Cost Management commissions, taking responsibility for their successful delivery.
- Provide effective support and mentoring to Project Surveyors, Graduates and Apprentices.
- Ensure commissions are managed and completed efficiently, on time and to the client's satisfaction.
- Develop strong reciprocal relationships with clients and members of the project team.
- Be the primary interface with AECOM clients (new and existing).
- Ensure all staff members reporting to you have current and relevant training.
- Delivery of cost management outputs, in accordance with agreed timescales and quality standards.
Minimum Requirements:
- Professionally Qualified with the RICS, CIOB or other equivalent institution.
- Proven experience in a consulting environment providing the full spectrum of CM services including Pre Contract Estimating; Procurement; Contract Administration, Cost Reporting and Final Account resolution.
- Proven ability to advise clients and design teams on cost, value and risk, not just cost in isolation.
- Excellent IT Skills and the ability to utilise digital measurement, cost planning and tender document tools shall be essential.
- Understanding of a variety of project types/sizes/sectors. Residential, Commercial, and Education sector experience would be advantageous
- Able to work under own initiative where appropriate working closely with the Senior Cost Managers and Associates in the delivery of some of our projects.

- Degree Qualified
- BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying / Cost Management.
- Professionally Qualified ideally Chartered Quantity Surveying Status with the RICS, CIOB or other equivalent institution.
- CSCS card
