New Directions Education are looking to appoint a hardworking and adaptable School Caretaker, to work on a relief basis in primary schools in Caerphilly.

Due to the nature of the roles being temporary, all applicants must be flexible and will ideally hold a full clean driving license, to work in different schools in the area covering long and short-term positions.

The working hours will be Monday-Friday and will include split-shifts (e.g. 6.30am - 10am and 3pm - 6.30pm), there will also be work available during school holidays.

The duties of a school Caretaker include:

General maintenance and minor repairs
Liaising with contractors
Managing heating and alarm systems
Security
Opening and closing the school
Basic cleaning
Keyholding.
