Main Purpose of the Role
We have a great opportunity for a hardworking and driven individual, with a keen interest in Quality Assurance in the care sector.
We're seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Quality & Compliance Lead, to play a pivotal role in upholding our company's standards and ensuring compliance with CQC requirements, as well as a range of regulatory frameworks.
As a Quality and Compliance Lead, you will report directly to the Operations Manager, and will require a high level of personal integrity, professionalism, and an ability to work at pace whilst producing accurate results.
Responsibilities:
As a Quality and Compliance Lead your role will include (but not limited to) the following duties:
- The key focus of the role is to work with the Operations Manager, supporting with driving compliance standards and managing risks associated with non-compliance.
- Responsible for the delivery of quality and compliance audits for Affinity Care Advisory clients to verify compliance with CQC regulations, as and when required.
- Devise and implement a scheduled audit programme that shall be established in relation to client's expectations.
- Regular audits of care provider files and ensure that they are always compliant.
- Working closely with the Operations Manager and to support her in all tasks and activities.
- Maintain client relationships when undertaking measures to meet the customers' requirements and expectations.
- Contributing fresh ideas to enhance the department's continuous improvement efforts and promote a culture of excellence.
- Pro actively supports the projects to achieve compliance to regulatory and client requirements.
- To carry out any other duties as may be required in a timely and professional manner.
- Liaise with relevant internal stakeholders to maintain the highest standards with due regard to Customer requirements.
- Maintain and monitor audit reporting, nonconformance, and corrective actions.
- Participate in quality and assurance nonconformance investigations.
Requirements:
The person that we are looking for, should have the following experience and attributes:
Ideally you will have experience of working within a compliance or auditing function and have previously worked in care industry.
- Extensive CQC regulation knowledge
- Excellent written & verbal communication
- Keen eye for detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask.
- Ability to confidently challenge where appropriate to ensure best results achieved from a continuous improvement perspective.
- Experience conducting audits against agreed benchmarks.
- Strong team player with the confidence to work alone.
Salary:
£35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
