Main Purpose of the Role


We have a great opportunity for a hardworking and driven individual, with a keen interest in Quality Assurance in the care sector.

We're seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Quality & Compliance Lead, to play a pivotal role in upholding our company's standards and ensuring compliance with CQC requirements, as well as a range of regulatory frameworks.


As a Quality and Compliance Lead, you will report directly to the Operations Manager, and will require a high level of personal integrity, professionalism, and an ability to work at pace whilst producing accurate results.

The department's key focus areas are legal and regulatory risk, data protection, complaints and non-conformity management, and audits.


Responsibilities:

As a Quality and Compliance Lead your role will include (but not limited to) the following duties:

  • The key focus of the role is to work with the Operations Manager, supporting with driving compliance standards and managing risks associated with non-compliance.
  • Responsible for the delivery of quality and compliance audits for Affinity Care Advisory clients to verify compliance with CQC regulations, as and when required.
  • Devise and implement a scheduled audit programme that shall be established in relation to client's expectations.
  • Regular audits of care provider files and ensure that they are always compliant.
  • Working closely with the Operations Manager and to support her in all tasks and activities.
  • Maintain client relationships when undertaking measures to meet the customers' requirements and expectations.
  • Contributing fresh ideas to enhance the department's continuous improvement efforts and promote a culture of excellence.
  • Pro actively supports the projects to achieve compliance to regulatory and client requirements.
  • To carry out any other duties as may be required in a timely and professional manner.
  • Liaise with relevant internal stakeholders to maintain the highest standards with due regard to Customer requirements.
  • Maintain and monitor audit reporting, nonconformance, and corrective actions.
  • Participate in quality and assurance nonconformance investigations.
This role may require regular travel throughout the UK which will include overnight stays. Travel expenses will be covered by the company.


Requirements:

The person that we are looking for, should have the following experience and attributes:

Ideally you will have experience of working within a compliance or auditing function and have previously worked in care industry.


  • Extensive CQC regulation knowledge
  • Excellent written & verbal communication
  • Keen eye for detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask.
  • Ability to confidently challenge where appropriate to ensure best results achieved from a continuous improvement perspective.
  • Experience conducting audits against agreed benchmarks.
  • Strong team player with the confidence to work alone.

Salary:
£35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
