Ticketing Executive - first direct arena, Leeds- P- PURPOSE
- To assist in the smooth running of the ticketing function of the venue, ensuring that customer service standards are maintained and promoter requirements are fulfilled.
- KEY ACCOUNTABILITES
- General
- Manage the successful ticketing management for events at the venue from agreeing the manifest with the promoter to event day delivery.
- Recruit casual team members and provide them with assistance, training, guidance and ensure that rotas and payroll are administered in an accurate and timely manner.
- Provide accurate and timely ticket sales updates to promoters and designated venue personnel.
- Liaise with promoters and the venue ticketing partners to assist with putting new shows on sale.
- Ensure that the ticket office is fully prepared on an event day including the collation of agent lists, checking seating and testing entry scanners.
- Act as main liaison with the promoter rep on selected event days agreeing final sales figures and ensuring that guest lists are managed correctly.
- Liaise with other departments, particularly Events, Finance and Hospitality providing information and insight in relation to events and ticket sales.
- Liaise with external ticket agents to assist with the fulfilment of their ticket sales.
- Any other reasonable duties assigned by the Ticketing Manager.
- Provide customer service support and resolution as required.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
- Knowledge & Qualifications
- Good knowledge of the ticketing project cycle.
- Previous experience of working in a fast paced environment.
- Proficient in the use of excel (or similar products).
Skills:
- Customer focused.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Ability to work to strict time deadlines and effectively prioritise a range of tasks.
- Smart appearance and presentation.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent organisation and planning skills.
- Experience of working with staff at all levels throughout a company.
- Proven IT experience including MS Office packages.
General Information- Due to the nature of the role there will be a requirement to work week-ends and evenings and public holidays.
- On the job training, development and management support will be given.
- There may be requirement to work at other ASM Global venues.
