Description

We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work with teachers to support students with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

You will be responsible for providing one-to-one support, assisting with class activities, and helping to create a safe and positive learning environment.

We work with multiple schools in the area and will try our best to match you with the most suitable one for you

Key Responsibilities:

Work with teachers to plan and deliver learning activities that meet the individual needs of students.
Provide onetoone support for students with SEN needs.
Assist with class activities, including supporting students with behavioural and emotional needs.
Help to create a safe and positive learning environment.
Monitor and record student progress and provide feedback to teachers.
Attend meetings with parents, teachers and other professionals as required.

Skills and Experience Required:

Experience working in a similar role, ideally in an SEN setting.
Knowledge of a range of SEN needs and strategies to support students with these needs.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
A patient, supportive and positive approach to working with students.
Relevant qualifications, such as a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, would be an advantage.
