Job Summary:

The purpose of this job is to support service users with severe/profound learning disabilities.

Key experience:

Experience of assisting people to move with practical experience of using hoists, slings and positioning service users in specialist wheelchairs and comfy chairs.
They need recent practical experience of rolling service users to dress and undress.
They also need practical experience of supporting high levels of personal care including catheter care.
Practical experience of feeding service users with dysphagia needs.
Experience of food modification and how to use thickeners in drinks, and food hygiene training.
Experience of supporting service users who cannot communicate verbally

Night shifts
