The Role
We are looking for a motivated and talented game designer to join our team. If a challenging and rewarding career is what you seek, this is the job for you. You will be working on some very exciting projects using and developing future technologies, especially for online games. To qualify for this position you must have previous experience with game design and an understanding of game mechanics. Creativity and strong visual aesthetics are also a must. But most of all you must be a gamer at heart and passionate about creating outstanding gaming experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Designing great online games of different genres for different platforms using innovative technologies from scratch and realise them in interdisciplinary collaboration
Inspiring, challenging and mentoring our team of Game Designers
Taking responsibility for the design vision and communicating it clearly
Collate all ideas and concepts into clear concept for presentation to the leadership
Review research ideas to support planning of the game concepts
Creating an environment for your team that supports open communication and encourages creativity, teamwork and proactivity
Prioritising tasks and taking responsibility for acceptance tests and the work of the game design team
Refine game balance by analysing and modifying mechanics, level progression and mission objectives

Skills Knowledge and Expertise

3+ years proven experience as a game designer or similar role
You have worked and designed an MMO or online title
Worked on at least one live operated title
Experienced in designing a game from scratch
Game economy experience
Good sense of aesthetics, design, colours and an eye for composition
Methodical mindset
Creative problemsolving ability
Game performance awareness
Experience in scripting and working with Blueprints
Experience with Unreal Engine
