We are currently seeking a cook to join our catering team at our residential care service located in Redbourne, situated between Scunthorpe and Brigg and only 30 minutes travel time by car from Lincoln.
We provide a supportive, therapeutic and homely environment for men aged 18+ with mild to moderate intellectual disability, mental health disorders, and complex needs.
We provide individuals with practical, physical and emotional support enabling them to achieve as much independence and choice as possible whilst promoting social inclusion.

As a cook your main duties will be:
- The preparation, cooking and serving of food of the highest standards, which is appropriate to and meets the needs of residents, staff and visitors.
- To regularly review the menus in line with residents, staff and visitors requirements including the provision of special diets and cultural needs.
- Communicating effectively with residents, staff and visitors to ensure nutritional healthy diets with particular emphasis on managing food allergens.
- Ensuring the effective ordering, control, storage and review of raw materials, equipment and supplies and ensuring costs are in line with agreed budgets.
- Take personal responsibility for ensuring that appropriate kitchen health and safety procedures are adhered to at all times and that risks are continuously assessed and managed. This will include the safe management of keys, storage areas, and resources and for following procedures set out in the Policy and Procedure Manuals.
- To undertake any other appropriate roles and responsibilities as requested and required.
