Pertemps are currently recruiting for a Multi Skilled Operative for a client based in Cardiff. This role is temporary full time and leading into a permanent role if successful.

Pay Rate:
£12.43 per hour with overtime available at x1.5 on your basic hourly rate
Hours Per week: 37.5 Hours, 1 in 3 weekends
As a Multi Skilled Operative, your duties will include;

Operate gantry cranes, mobile heaving lifting equipment and plant equipment once fully trained
Prepare trains for departure
Carry out lorry and container checks, unlocking twist locks and retrieving documents.
Control vehicle movements within designated lifting areas
Undertake checks and general cleansing on storage areas.
Undertake housekeeping duties on site
Ensure all health and safety briefings are adhered to.
Reporting any mishaps, near miss, lifted wagons or any other problems
Experience with forklifts within a yard or warehouse.
Full UK Driving licence required
Accurate with inputting data into systems.
Good communication skills
Ability to solve problems
Ability to work to strict deadlines.
