About us
Accountancy Fellowship Ltd is a small business based between Westbourne and Bournemouth town centre. We are a professional firm of Accountants looking for someone to fill a part time role for a fixed term contract (maternity cover), assisting the Accountant and current Bookkeeper/Accounts Assistant with;
- Basic summarising of paperwork. Online bookkeeping review, reconciliation and adjustment.
- VAT Returns, CIS Returns, Trial Balance preparation for Sole Trader, Personal Tax Returns and schedule preparation for Limited Companies.
- Payroll completion on software.
- Also minor ad hoc administration duties necessary in a small office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce a high standard of work within strict deadlines.
- Report to manager on a regular basis with respect to workload.
- Identify own training and development needs.
- Completion of own timesheet on a regular basis.
Experience:
- At least Level 1 bookkeeping qualification is required, with experience in QuickBooks, Xero or other online and desktop accounting software essential.
- Previous experience in Payroll completion is a must. Payroll qualifications are preferred, but may not be essential.
- Proficiency in using Google Suite (Gmail, Calendar) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access).
