Reflex supplies customers' offices in Central London with a wide range of soft drinks, alcohol, food snacks, dairy and janitorial products for staff and client consumption.

Due to a steady increase in sales we now need an experienced and flexible individual to join our driving team to make large volume deliveries to companies in Central London.

Some drops will require delivery to several floors in the same office, some will be smaller but still high in volume.

You will be delivering to the same companies once, twice a week or even daily to some, so this requires the personality to relationship build with office contacts and security teams in loading bays etc.

Our drivers are the face of Reflex and 'go the extra mile' to fulfil customer satisfaction, so we will require the same work ethic from you.

Duties:

Arrive at our Warehouse in Harrow on time each morning to load your van (provided)
Use initiative when loading to ensure that all items are taken with you even if no delivery note
Follow a logístically planned delivery schedule and routes taking in all notes given re specific instructions
Unload products from van and with use of trolley via customer loading bays or goods lift
Communicate with the office if there are errors, shortages or issues so that they can be rectified as early as possible
Maintain accurate records of deliveries and their locations, taking photos for proof if necessary
Ensure all deliveries are completed on time
Collect returned items when given collection notes by the warehouse
Perform regular vehicle inspections and maintenance checks

Qualities Required:

Physically fit as the job is demanding
Happy to start at 3am until finish (although up to an 8hour day)
Personable and friendly, flexible with a helpful disposition
Good time keeper
Proven driving knowledge of delivering in central London and/or the City so that you can 'hit the ground running'

enjoy being on the road in a manual job, with a can-do attitude and desire to meet our customer and office expectations.

Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations

Essentials
Full valid driver's license with no points or convictions
Proven experience as a Delivery Driver ideally in the food and drink industry
Commercial driving experience if in other fields
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
Customer service skills and ability to speak comfortably to customers
Ability to navigate using GPS or other navigation systems
Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
Familiarity with warehouse operations

Job Types:

Salary:
£26,000.00 per year
