The Opportunity


We are looking to hire an enthusiastic and attentive Warehouse Operative to be based at our warehouse in West London.

You'll be focused on ensuring that the process is followed within the warehouse so that stock is managed effectively, are the products are delivered and installed efficiently and courteously.


This operational role will be a vital asset to ensuring increased stock turnover by participating in the management of stock flow within the warehouse and organising the efficient supply of items to satisfy the business needs.


The Detail

Key Skills Required

  • Knowledge of warehouse processes, moving stock inbound & outbound
  • Confident communicator both on the phone and in person
  • Working knowledge of health and safety standards
  • Capable of lifting heavy items
  • Forklift and Order Picker licence is beneficial
  • Clean UK Driving License is beneficial
  • SAP knowledge is beneficial
  • Experience of delivering and assembling furniture will be a distinct advantage

Accountabilities

  • Maintain general housekeeping duties within the warehouse including stock rotation, cleanliness, tidiness and compliance with Health & Safety guidelines
  • Assist with the smooth running of the warehouse & logistics department and work closely with the Production and Sales teams
  • Process all items on and out to bays using the company database (SAP) efficiently
  • Liaising with delivery & courier drivers
  • Preparing items to be sent into client locations
  • Assisting in regular stock checks
  • Using handheld scanners as part of the warehouse management system
  • Completing of manual handling tasks
