This is a broad role where you'll be working directly with the Head of Reward to develop total reward strategy.

About the role:

You will support the Head of Engagement & Reward in developing the people engagement and total reward strategy.

You will respond to both internal and external influencing factors, ensuring the best possible total reward offer is created to attract, recruit,retain and engage the right calibre of people and in turn help drive performance.

You will be responsible for creating, testing, and developing reward policies, processes and other tools to support the employment brand and help deliver the overall People Strategy.

You will also develop approaches to recognition that enable the acknowledgementof the contribution of our staff and volunteers through non pay mechanisms.

Organisational reward capability
Role profiles and evaluation
Total reward and recognition
Managing stakeholder relationships
Continuous improvement
Utilising data

Required knowledge and experience:

Strong knowledge of total reward and recognition models, best practice, and market trends
Knowledge of engagement practices and staff benefits
Strong knowledge of employment law relating to pay and benefits.
Commercial awareness and understanding of business drivers and planning processes.
In depth knowledge of job evaluation processes
Ability to build effective and collaborative working relationships, as well as influence change.
Confident in Job evaluation techniques
Experience using HAY methodology.
Excellent IT Skills, including Oracle, database management, and manipulation of Excel.
