TPF recruitment are supporting a fantastic, fast growing Top 100 chartered accountancy practice based in Uckfield who are looking for an accounts senior/ senior accountant to join their experienced team.

This is a general practice environment, focused onan owner managed business client base. There are excellent progression prospects on offer and the business offers a fantastic benefits package too


You will be responsible for:


  • Lead client accounts' engagements (planning, directing and completion)
  • Supervise juniors
  • Research and analyse financial statements
  • Produce statutory accounts and draft tax computations
  • Monitor the progress of jobs to ensure that budgets are met
  • Draft client letters and bills
  • Proactively interact with key client's management to gather information, resolve problems and make recommendations for business and process improvements

Requirements:


  • ACA/ACCA qualified with a demonstrable track record of accounts experience in an accountancy practice
  • Excellent technical knowledge of accounting standards, corporation tax, VAT and P11Ds
  • Ability to perform to a high technical and professional standard

Benefits:

- £40,000 - £50,000 dependent on experience and background, negotiable. A highly competitive benefits package is also on offer.
