AO Co-ordinator (12 month Maternity Cover)

Salary:
£22,500 - £24,000 per annum

About the role

The AO Co-ordinator will be responsible for the efficient administration of the awarding organisation functions and its growing global network of approved study centres.

This role involves working closely with training providers and our External Quality Assurers (EQA) to ensure smooth delivery of study centre approvals and to provide outstanding customer care.

The role will provide support and guidance to organisation undergoing the IOSH study centre approval process.

You will be responsible for booking EQA reviews, and will set up introduction and induction sessions with centres on MS Teams.

You will set up new centres in Parnassus, our management system, whilst updating and maintaining accurate customer records. The role will raise POs and track EQA activity, raising invoices and tracking centre approvals.

The role will work with teams in the wider organisation, directing some tasks to the Admin team that come through the shared mailbox, and escalating when needed.

What you'll bring

You will join a small team of 4, supporting them with a range of administrative and operational support activities as required, often working independently and managing your own workload.

You will be a confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, being able to provide advice and guidance to prospective centres from expressions of interest through to approval and building and maintain relationships with approval study centres.

We are looking for someone with excellent customer service skills to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to create and provide a high-quality enabling service.

Ideally you will have relevant work experience in education, training and/or business administration.

It would be advantageous if you have experience of customer service and working in a regulated environment and/or educational setting.

Experience in a membership organisation would also be advantageous. Although not essential, knowledge of quality assurance processes would be an advantage.

Essential criteria

  • Knowledge and understanding of education and/or regulatory requirements and the role of an Awarding Organisation.
  • Experience of working in a regulated awarding organisation or other regulated environment.
  • Experience of utilising a wide range of IT packages and computerassisted technologies.
  • GCSE English Language and Mathematics (or equivalent) at Grade C or above.
