About the role:


As a Support Specialist you will handle service request tickets from Social Care service areas, providing efficient and professional solutions within the agreed service levels and priorities.

Ensure timely and effective responses and keeping users updated on progress. Administer and support information systems and software for the service areas, and uphold data standards.


About you:


  • Effective general ICT skills, specifically Microsoft Office 36
  • Good organisational, administrative and communication skills with a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work on own initiative, independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise and meet deadlines with attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information.

What you will do:


  • Be responsible for logging, responding, resolving, escalating, monitoring, and closing ICT service requests from users within agreed procedures and service levels.
  • Be responsible for communicating and collaborating with external suppliers and internal partners or teams on issues related to information systems, such as problem solving, user group meetings, system releases, and data sharing.
  • Maintain product knowledge and technical skills and learn about new products as required.
  • Set up new users following agreed processes and policies.
  • Be responsible for creating and maintaining user guidance and other documentation, as well as direct support and advice to system users on the appropriate and correct use systems.

Job Types:
Part-time, Fixed term contract


Pay:
£25,979.00-£27,334.00 per year

Expected hours: 22.2 per week
