Warwickshire Virtual School

Post 16 Education Officer
Warwickshire Virtual School needs a knowledgeable and experienced Post 16 Education Officer.

The post holder will maintain oversight of Y12 and Y13 students in local authority care. Transition work will start with Y11 children.

The postholder will seek to improve participation in Post 16 education, which will ultimately impact participation of Post 18 care leavers.


You will need to be proactive and sensitive to needs and circumstances, readily signposting to support services and ensuring timely actions and follow up by liaising with relevant professionals.


A suitably knowledgeable and experienced person will enjoy the opportunity to support the development of the work of the Virtual School, Education Services and Social Care in achieving their objectives for children and young people who are or have been in the care of Warwickshire.
