Enable Futures are operating as an employment business on behalf of its client and recruiting for a permanent Finance Assistant based in Bridgwater, Somerset.

Our client, a successful Manufacturing company based in Bridgwater is looking to appoint a full time highly skilled Finance Assistant to assist the Financial Controller with all financial transactions.

The working hours are Monday to Thursday 8.00-5pm & Friday 8.30-3pm. The annual salary is very competitive and Circa £25,000 DOE.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Purchase Ledger
  • Including input of all supplier invoices onto Sage
  • Liaising with buying department and suppliers
  • Sales Ledger
  • Liaising with customers
  • Bank Transactions and reconciliations

Experience, attributes & skills sought:

  • Recent full working knowledge of SAGE (preferably Sage50).
  • Previous experience in a similar role or in a variety of accounting roles.
  • A methodical approach to work with excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Confident verbal and written communicator.
  • The ability to solve problems and take ownership
