I'm recruiting for a QA Test Engineer to join an awesome company with a base in Dorset.

They would ideally like people who are happy to pop into their office in Sherborne once every couple of weeks and the rest of the time you are welcome to work remotely.

They do some incredible products that help to protect commercial ports, cruise liners and private yachts from underwater threats using cutting-edge sonar technology.

This could be to help protect them in locations prone to icebergs, debris and marine mammalsor to help protect ports or private yachts from unwanted intruders Their products also deliver high quality underwater imaging that practically look like pieces of art

They are currently a team of 20 growing to 28 but are also a part of a larger established company of 300 but operate as their own entity and have been very profitable.

As part of their products they have a software platform which is where their development and testing comes in Their platform is currently being moved towards microservices and Web Api's.

They currently have a team of 3 developers which will be increasingto 5 and they are now looking for their very first Test/QA to join

You'll work closely with the developers to ensure that there is a robust test strategy in place and they would love for someone who is able to get some automation in place.

They are totally open to whether this is with off the shelf codeless tools like Ranorexetc or tools like Selenium.

Their tech stack is predominantly C# and.
NET core so any knowledge of these languages would be useful.

They want people who love breaking things and who are a bit techie in nature and are able to dig around a bit when identifying bugs to analyse and gather evidence of what has happened.

They are offering a salary of anywhere from £40,000-£60,000 depending on experience with a bonus on top (exact % to tbc but probably in the region of 8%).
