The Role

To lead, motivate, coach and develop the Business Systems Managers, Developers and wider IT Team to ensure they have the right level of capability and are fully engaged to achieve the strategy, goals and targets set. Identify development opportunities for self and their team.
Oversee and drive the development and implementation of the IT solution roadmap across Distribution. Demonstrating technology leadership and ensuring their teams expertise adds value to the process, raises the bar and leads to solution delivery. Act as the main point of liaison between IT and Distribution.
To manage own budget area to ensure cost efficiency and value for money when securing services.
Establish and manage strategic supplier relationships. Ensuring that services provided are value adding and to the required standard to support the business.
To provide user support and training for their business functions. Ensuring that support process are adhered to and critical business processes are conducted.

Essential IngredientsThe successful applicant will possess a broad knowledge of business processes, and current and emerging technology solutions. They will have an understanding of both business and functional strategies, rising to the challenge to help deliver progress against them. They will possess the ability to develop a good understanding of the business needs and will be able to effectively identify, create and implement innovative IT solutions to the business on time, and to budget.
