£40,000 - £60,000 Dependant on Experience

Are you an experienced Building Surveyor looking for an exciting new opportunity to join a highly regarded multi-disciplinary building consultancy? Our client, a leading name in the industry, is seeking a skilled and dedicated Building Surveyor to join their team.

If you have a passion for construction, strong technical knowledge, and a desire to deliver exceptional service, this could be the perfect role for you.


Responsibilities:


  • Conducting detailed building surveys, assessments, and inspections to identify defects, maintenance issues, and compliance with regulations.
  • Preparing comprehensive reports, including condition surveys, schedules of work, and specifications.
  • Managing and overseeing projects, including contract administration and cost control.
  • Conducting feasibility studies and advising clients on the viability of construction projects.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors.
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships through effective communication and service delivery.

Requirements:


  • Bachelors degree in Building Surveying or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Building Surveyor, ideally within a consultancy environment.
  • Indepth knowledge of building regulations, construction methods, and relevant legislation.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using industrystandard software and tools.
  • Membership of a professional body such as RICS or CIOB is highly desirable.
