Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Director-level Project Management Professional to join our busy and expanding Occupier Fit-out Team in London. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile and complex fit-out schemes in the capital, leveraging your expertise to deliver exceptional results for our clients.

The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of the legal sector and a proven track record in winning, developing, and delivering major fit-out projects within it.

Main Responsibilities:

Lead on major project management commissions, taking responsibility for every aspect of service delivery in line with Turner & Townsend's governance.
Establish overall success criteria for projects, including time, cost, technical, and performance parameters.
Provide key technical and commercial advice to clients across commercial fit-out projects and take responsibility for end-to-end service delivery.
Ensure client objectives are met and that projects are delivered to time and cost targets and the appropriate quality standards.
Lead on compliance for quality, safety, health, and environment issues on project commissions.

Internal Management Accountabilities:

Governance: Ensure Turner & Townsend's governance and processes are adhered to in the management of the business' operations and project delivery.
Capability: Identify, manage, coach, and mentor talent to realize their potential, celebrating the success of others and identifying skills gaps in the team.
Financial management: Ensure prompt client invoicing, monitoring a project's financial status, leading on commercial negotiations for winning work and account management.
Knowledge management: Ensure that key information and learning generated from each project is input into the Turner & Townsend internal database.

Salary: £90,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience

Qualifications:

Ideally professionally qualified in one of the following fields: construction, project management, engineering, quantity surveying, or architecture.
Proven experience in leadership roles in construction project management, ideally with a leading consultancy in a similar capacity.
Experience of delivering CAT A / CAT B office projects in the legal and/or financial sector.
