Job Description:


The Global Digital Workplace Architecture Leader drives the team to automate or eliminate repeatable tasks and reduce administrative overhead for themselves and workplace operations, including configuration variations, performance issues on endpoint devices and security vulnerabilities.

This role owns end user and global digital workplace technology roadmaps and lifecycle and fosters a strong relationship with technology vendors, security and several technology and business partners.


Main Responsibilities

  • Define, implement and continuously improve end user and other digital workplace technologies.
  • Managerial responsibilities include hiring, managing, coaching and developing direct reports.
  • Manage and govern associated vendors and service providers.
  • Lead end user related architectural and device work, e.g. rearchitecting Active Directory Globally, device imaging & management etc.
  • Establish global end user and other digital workplace technology roadmaps, engineering strategy and operating standards.
  • Identify, monitor, publish and manage goals and measurements to show improvements to digital workplace technology.
  • Oversee endpoint management and patching to ensure security and availability, while minimizing the potential impact on employee experience.
  • Ensure alignment with data retention, compliance and eDiscovery processes.
  • Advocate for secure computing practices and procedures and communicate best practices throughout the company.
  • Ensure that documentation and training is in place for digital workplace technology operations teams
  • Support resolution of highpriority outages, troubleshooting efforts, and capacity/availability planning sessions.
  • Support digital workplace technology projects and planning.
  • Advocate for advanced analytics and automation to streamline efficiencies.
  • Work closely with operations and enablement partners to drive coordination and collaboration throughout the digital workplace program.
  • Collaborate closely with security, identity and networking leaders to ensure a secure seamless delivery of digital workplace technologies.
  • Drive global technology roadmap for core technologies including Active Directory, Microsoft365, Automated Device Management, Virtualization, PKI infrastructure, Smart Automation, Core Business Systems and others.
  • Collaborate with security and network leadership to ensure that services dependencies, performance and stability are met
  • Provide leadership and direction for all supported services
  • Make recommendations and implement process improvements and technology changes based on best practices
  • Required to meet with Executives and Business leaders across the business and IT to ensure effective communication of updates, service improvement plans and be the escalation point for supported services
