**Teacher of Art Vacancy

A GOOD secondary school in Darwen are looking to appoint a Teacher of Art on a permanent contract from April 2023.

_Responsible to - Curriculum Leader of Creative Arts_
**The successful applicant: - Will be an excellent practitioner

  • Able to deliver Art up to KS4 GCSE (opportunity to deliver at KS5 if you have the right experience)
  • Must be able to motivate, challenge and inspire pupils to succeed in Art
  • Must be committed to improving the outcomes for all pupils
  • Will have high expectations of themselves and the pupils
  • Will have excellent communication skills and the ability to develop and improve practice in themselves and others
  • Will be willing to contribute to extracurricular activities
**Essential Requirements

  • Available full time from 17th April 202
  • Qualified Teacher Status
  • Degree or equivalent
  • Live in the UK with a proof of address and Right to Work in the UK
