The Business Support Assistant is a key part of the West Midlands Primary Care Complaints Team, which sits within the Office of the West Midlands and will have responsibility for supporting the Complaints Team to ensure effective operational delivery of the Complaints Service and supporting the ICBs proactive approach to listening and responding to patient and carer feedback.

The job is suitable for individuals who have a passion for ensuring high quality service is provided to our patients and stakeholders.

The individual should demonstrate that they have good attention to detail and is highly-motivated and be able to demonstrate a pleasant and professional telephone manner and be competent in listening and recording accurate and complex information.

Post holders will be capable of prioritising their work-streams in order to meet deadlines, have excellent communication skills and have a customer focussed approach.

The successful applicants will also be capable of working digitally and competent in the use of Office 365 and MS Teams.


As a Complaints Business Support Assistant, the post holder will work as part of a dynamic team, in particular the post holder will provide and coordinate administrative and secretarial services; including for example, the preparation of agendas and minutes, taking appropriate follow-up action as required.

Supporting the team with the management of projects, gathering information and undertaking enquires as and when is necessary for the Complaints Manager and the Complaints Team.
