**PLM Engineer - Fully remote - Outside IR35
**6 months contract + extension

Our client is one of the largest IT consultancies in the UK, whos end client is a market cleader in the areospace and Defense sector.


The end-client is looking for an IT Engineer to work within the PLM technical team to deliver a variety of engineering projects, to support the design, development and delivery of COTS Applications Integration being rolled out across various design and manufacturingsites.


Day to Day Responsibilities
Report to Project Management team on progress of work packages, specifically working on the PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) projects.

Report To PLM Architect for Technical guidance and approval.

System development and packaging of system change definitions for the Client Engineering systems.

Provide technical input to Project Management work plans.

  • Create deployment packages that will take system design through to system golive including:
  • Creation and maintenance of Proof of Concept environments.
  • Creation of technical build documentation.
  • Creation of system deployment packages and package maintenance within the agreed configuration management tool.
  • Creation and maintenance of Integration and Customer test environments.

Skills needed:


  • Previous implementation experience of Teamcenter
  • Good understanding of UNIX (commands and scripts)
  • Good understanding of Windows environment
  • An understanding of Web Server technology.
  • Ability to work well in a team and on own initiative.
  • Experience of working in a demanding environment
  • Good communication skills
