Working with a well established and dynamic lettings company based in the Salford area to appoint a full time permanent Management Accountant

You will report into the Finance Manager and take responsibility for the process of preparing the monthly management accounts


Full Job Description

  • Assist in the process of preparing the monthly management accounts.
  • Preparing timely and accurate management accounts for at least six subsidiary companies
  • Preparing Accruals and Prepayments for month end
  • Balance sheet reconciliation
  • Monthly revenue recognition and reconciliation
  • Recharge of intercompany invoices
  • Group Cashflow preparation and management
  • Maintain records and support annual auditing process
  • Recommend methods and strategies for cutting costs
  • Assisting in other ad hoc tasks when required and general support to the finance team
Key Skills

  • Part qualified in a professional, accounting qualification (ACCA/CIMA/ACA)
  • Minimum of 2 years solid experience in a similar role
  • Working understanding of accounting processes and procedures
  • Experience within the real estate industry desirable
  • Analytical, technical, IT and numerical abilities
  • Good Oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Good numerical skills
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
