What you'll do

  • Within this role you will lead a team of radio planning and optimisation engineers enhancing Vodafone's UK Radio Network within the Midlands region.
  • Support our National Planning and Design team with current and future innovations to ensure best practise, implementing global parameter sets and resolving network wide performance and system level issues.
  • While participating in and maintain a factory which accelerates mobile Network deployment where standardisations and simplifications are at the heart of what we do.
  • You will build a culture of diversity as a foundation of maximising the collective knowledge, skills, and capabilities across the One Team.
  • Continuously drive delivery improvements, testing of new ideas and concepts, learning fast and implementing quickly
  • Ensure the right reporting and governance is in place to give the visibility and awareness required by stakeholders and sponsors.
  • Financial accountability for OPEX and CAPEX budget lines associated with the team's work
  • Point of escalation for all Regional Radio Planning and Optimisation activities.
  • Promote best practice and demonstrate accountability by developing strong, effective working relationships with internal and external suppliers and stakeholder

Who you are

  • You will have a good understanding of the core technologies, systems, processes, and legislative framework that underpin Mobile Radio Networks
  • Strong Leadership and management experience within a Telecoms environment
  • The ability to establish influential, trust
- based relationships across the Vodafone Networks team and with Partners to ensure a strong 'One Team' ethos

  • A strong and credible Operational leader, with a proven performance focus and drive with a demonstratable and consistent track record of delivery
