A vacancy for a
Head of School has arisen
in our Multi Academy Trust due to the resignation of the current Headteacher.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and outstanding practitioner to work collaboratively with our Headteachers and leadership teams to support strategically in the leadership and management of our schools.
Salary:
Leadership Scale L12-L18 (£58,105-£67,350 per annum)**
Location: The role is based at St Chad's CE Primary School

- To Lead the school's Christian vision and provision for pupils and adults enabling all pupils to flourish.

- Be an outstanding primary practitioner and an outstanding leader
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of child protection and safeguarding and show evidence of successfully managing concerns and allegations
- Be an effective communicator, both internally with staff and pupils and with parents/carers, and the wider community
- To build on the culture of success through celebration, praise and rewards
- The ability to build opportunities for success into everyday classroom routines and practice
- Be highly motivated and passionate about making a difference to the lives of young people with the natural ability to inspire and motivate both pupils and peers
- Have detailed knowledge and experience of monitoring and evaluating standards of attainment, teaching and learning and the capability to create action plans to ensure that all children reach their highest potential
- Have a deep understanding of curriculum development, leadership and progression
- Be able to lead an inclusive culture that promotes excellence, equality and sets high expectations for staff and pupils particularly those who are disadvantaged, vulnerable and those with SEND
- Have the ability and interpersonal skills to develop, challenge and support senior and middle leaders
- Understand the importance of providing broad and balanced opportunities to develop the whole child
