About the role:

As an HR Operations Support Administrator you will play a pivotal role in providing procedural level support and guidance to police officers, staff and volunteers of Devon & Cornwall Police.

You will either provide an HR advisory support in relation to employment lifecycle matters to officers and staff of the Force, such as flexible working, leavers or attendance, OR portfolio support, whereby you will provide dedicated administrative support to the HR Corporate Support team in respect of pay and reward processes, such as job evaluation and additional payment administration; case management appeals support, including all grievance through to appeal and ill-health retirements; as well as support to the HR Change Team with various levels of organisational change.

You will report to the HR Supervisor, but provide support to the Senior HR Officer and HR Officers, with support from the Assistant HR Officers.

  • A good team worker, able to integrate well into a team and build strong connections
  • Ethically minded, with a sense of integrity and able to maintain confidentiality
