Administrator (Health & Safety / Training)
Based
Altham, Nr Burnley.

Negotiable Salary + Company Benefits.


We currently have a great opportunity for a confident, highly organised
Administrator to join our team, providing comprehensive administrative support within our Health & Safety function across a number of our local sites.


The Role:


  • Monitor, manage and maintain the H&S & Training database for the Group.
  • Booking training with external bodies, communicating with relevant Managers.
  • Data collection on Health and Safety training deficiencies.
  • Administer all H&S internal training keeping updated records.
  • Safety meeting administration including: meeting preparation, action taking and distribution.
  • Processing Health & Safety information in a usable format.
  • Scanning and updating information, safety cards etc.
  • Supporting the safety reps with communications / sharing information / completion of inspections.
  • Generate and communicating weekly/monthly reports as required.
  • Archiving and updating information as required.
  • Supporting the H&S team on typing up minutes / notes from meetings, chasing up close out of actions from meetings / audits and collating and gathering evidence to support the above.

The Person:


  • Previous experience within a similar administrative support role.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organised with ability to multitask.
  • Strong IT skills and ability to manage data using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Positive can do attitude with a flexible, curious approach.
  • Strong communication skills, at all levels of the business across all sites.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Selfmotivated, confident with a clear sense of ownership of tasks and duties.
  • An interest in Health & Safety.
  • Full UK Driving licence required as role does require some flexibility travelling to other local sites as required.
  • GCSEs in Maths and English (Grades 4 & above).
Working hours 8.30am

  • 4.30pm Monday to Thursday / 8.30am 2pm Friday
